By creating an account or using Campus, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Campus. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Campus is for currently enrolled university students. To sign up you must:

• Have a valid university email address at a supported institution
• Be at least 18 years old
• Verify your email via the one-time code we send
• Be a genuine student — impersonation or false affiliation is grounds for immediate removal

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You may not share your account with anyone else. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at WinterA9@cardiff.ac.uk.

You may use Campus to connect with other students, share posts, and engage with university communities.

You must not:

• Post content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or hateful
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Post spam, advertising, or unsolicited commercial messages
• Attempt to access, scrape, or interfere with Campus systems or other users' data
• Use Campus for any commercial purpose without our written permission
• Share another person's private information without their consent
• Post content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, at our sole discretion.

You own the content you post on Campus. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the platform. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not sell it to third parties.

Any verified student can follow any university's board. Only students at that university may post to it. This is a core rule of Campus — circumventing it (for example, by using a fake or borrowed university email) is grounds for permanent removal.

We aim to keep Campus available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may also update these terms — we will notify you of significant changes via the platform. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

Campus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for content posted by users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Campus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use Campus ceases immediately.
